NESN, New England’s most-watched sports network, delivered simultaneous coverage of both the Boston Red Sox on NESN and Boston Bruins on NESNplus last Thursday night, delivering a combined 14.3 household rating and 24 share in the Boston DMA according to Nielsen. With NESN’s combined 24 share last Thursday night, the network garnered nearly one out of every four households that were watching TV in the Boston market between 7 and 10 p.m.
The Red Sox got a 7.8 household rating with a 13 share. The Bruins got a 6.5 household rating for an 11 share.
