While Boston fans will obviously be cheering on their Bruins on Sunday afternoon, the Panthers earned some respect by paying tribute to the area before their matchup with the B’s.
Florida wore Boston Strong t-shirts before the game in their locker room, according to NESN’s Mike Cole. They also took a page out of the Bruins’ book by wearing local first responder hats for pregame warmups. The Bruins were back to helmets on Sunday after wearing first responder hats on Saturday afternoon.
