David OrtizSaturday, April 20 was an emotional day at Fenway Park, and it had little to do with a dramatic come-from-behind victory for the Red Sox.

Instead, the day was filled with moving tributes, as players, fans and others honored the victims, first responders and others involved in the attacks on the Boston Marathon.

From David Ortiz‘s memorable pregame speech to Neil Diamond‘s live rendition of “Sweet Caroline,” the day was filled with many moments that fans in attendance and watching from afar will never forget. While Daniel Nava‘s late-inning heroics propelled the Sox to a win over the Kansas City Royals, it was a very special day for the city of Boston regardless of any game’s outcome.
