The Boston Red Sox have announced that the Fenway Park open house, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced yet.

Last April, Fenway welcomed about 54,000 fans through its gates, free of charge, to view hisorical artifacts, walk the warning track and get a few autographs. The event was scheduled for the week when most local schools get the week off, and all gates were to be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s event was to be the second annual open house in the ballpark’s history.
