A first pitch temperature of 42 degrees coupled with a lengthy rain delay and lackluster performance made for a long night at Fenway on Tuesday.
The Red Sox decided to reward fans who attended Tuesday night’s game against Oakland with free admission to Wednesday’s 4 p.m. matinee against the Athletics or Thursday night’s game against Houston. All fans have to do is show up at Gate E two hours before the game of their choosing with their ticket stub from Tuesday.
