Robyn Regehr suffered a scary injury Tuesday night after taking a skate to the face in the third period of the Kings-Blues game, but the good news is that he’s a hockey player.

With Los Angeles trailing by one goal early in the period, David Backes seemed to accidentally kick Regehr as the two were tangled up along the boards. According to reports, a pool of blood collected on the ice, and the defenseman was taken in to the locker room.

Of course, Regehr returned to the game shortly thereafter. After all, it is the playoffs.

Check out a video of the injury below, if you dare.
