The Pacers didn’t just beat the Hawks on Wednesday night in Indianapolis, they made them look foolish in the process.
First, it was big man Roy Hibbert posterizing Atlanta’s Ivan Johnson near the tail end of the first quarter. Former Slam Dunk champion Gerald Green then followed suit about seven minutes later, abusing Josh Smith — himself a former dunk contest winner — with a vicious right-handed slam.
