Jacoby Ellsbury, Shane VictorinoA back injury kept Shane Victorino on the bench for both ends of the Red Sox’ doubleheader against Kansas City on Sunday, but the Flyin’ Hawaiian will be back in his regular spot in right field when the Oakland A’s come to town Monday night.

After shaking up the batting order a bit to accommodate for a long day of baseball, a sense of normalcy returns to the Boston lineup for the first game of a three-game series with the AL West champion A’s. The meat of the order (David Ortiz, Mike Napoli and Daniel Nava) was deadly against Royals, combining to go 11-for-28 with eight RBIs and five runs scored over the three-game swing. They’ll bat fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively, Monday night for manager John Farrell.

This will be the first time the Red Sox have seen the A’s this season, but the boys from Oakland are far from strangers. Coco Crisp, Jed Lowrie, Brandon Moss, Bartolo Colon and Josh Reddick have all spent time wearing the home whites at Fenway Park in their careers, and all three will be in the visitors’ lineup on Monday.
