Vancouver Golf Course Promises Anton Volchenkov Free Golf for Rest of Year After Dirty Hit on Brad Marchand

The Bruins won the Stanley Cup by beating the Canucks in 2011, but some of the Vancouver population just can’t seem to let bygones be bygones.

On Thursday night, shortly after the Bruins announced that Brad Marchand had sustained a concussion after a hit by New Jersey defenseman Anton Volchenkov, a Vancouver golf course tweeted out an offer rewarding Volchenkov for his dirty deed.

The tweet was later deleted, but check out a screenshot of it below.

After deleting the earlier tweet, the course also issued an apology and wished Marchand well. [tweet align=’center’] [tweet align=’center’]
