Bruins-Rangers Playoff Schedule Released, With Game 1 Set for Thursday at TD Garden

Shawn Thornton, Marc StaalThe Bruins and Rangers will have a couple of days off to relax and unwind after their dramatic Game 7 victories.

No. 6-seeded New York will travel to No. 3-seeded Boston for Game 1 on Thursday, as the two Original Six teams will renew their rivalry in the playoffs. The puck will drop on the series at 7:30 p.m., and Game 2 will be Sunday at 3 p.m.

The locale changes for Games 3 and 4, with the Rangers hosting the B’s at Madison Square Garden. Those games will be Tuesday and Thursday, with puck drop set for 7:30 and 7 p.m., respectively.

If necessary, Game 5 will be in Boston on Saturday, May 25, Game 6 will be back in New York on May 27 and a winner-take-all Game 7 would be at TD Garden on May 29. Those start times are all to be determined.
