David Krejci Misses Bruins Practice Thursday, Reason for Absence Was ‘Minimal Maintenance’

The Bruins were without the league’s leading playoff scorer Thursday at practice, but it’s apparently nothing to be too concerned about.

David Krejci didn’t take the ice for Bruins practice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, Mass., on Thursday morning, which may have been a little bit unsettling for Bruins fans after Krejci practiced on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, B’s coach Claude Julien told reporters that the forward’s absence was for “minimal maintenance.”

Krejci has been arguably the club’s best player in the playoffs, and it’s hard to argue with the numbers. Krejci leads the league with 17 postseason points with five goals and 12 assists.
