David Ortiz Gets Day Off Against Chad Jenkins As Slugger Tries to Recover From Slump

David OrtizDavid Ortiz will get the day off on Sunday afternoon after going 1-17 in his last four games.

Mike Napoli will get the start at designated hitter, batting in Ortiz’s usual cleanup spot. Mike Carp will play first base and hit sixth.

The Blue Jays are sticking with what worked on Saturday afternoon as they send out the same lineup in consecutive days. Righty Chad Jenkins will take the mound for the Blue Jays as Ryan Dempster tries to pick up his third win for Boston.
