Philadelphia 76ers v Chicago Bulls - Game OneChicago is starting to get frustrated with Bulls star Derrick Rose.

It’s been more than a year since Rose famously tore his ACL, and months since doctors cleared him to play. Rose continues to profess that he won’t step foot on the court for game action until he’s comfortable dunking off his left leg, but he was seen doing just that in practice less than a month ago.

The Bulls have a 3-2 series advantage over the Brooklyn Nets in the opening round of the NBA playoffs, but they could use Rose’s presence if they want to keep the wins coming. So, between the team’s need and the frustration of fans, CBS Chicago decided to do something unorthodox to implore Rose to return.

The station 670 The Score asked fans to write open letters to Rose, saying on its website:

“Frustrated? Here’s your chance to express your feelings to Rose.

“In the space below, write an open letter to the face of the Bulls franchise. Yell at him, plead with him, convince him — this is your chance to say whatever it is you want to say to Derrick Rose.”

CBS Chicago promises to publish the best responses on the website. We can’t wait to see.
