Reimer came through with another stout effort in goal for the Maple Leafs on Sunday, stopping 29 of the 30 shots the Bruins put on goal. The Leafs’ 2-1 win in Game 6 forced a do-or-die Game 7 at TD Garden on Monday.

The stage was set for a tight finish when both teams started the third period scoreless. The Bruins must not have gotten the memo that the second intermission had ended, though, because the Leafs quickly took a 1-0 edge on Dion Phaneuf‘s wrister from Nazem Kadri and James van Riemsdyk. Then Phil Kessel, who now seems intent on being a thorn in the Bruins’ side, netted the eventual game-winner, giving van Riemsdyk his second assist of the game in the process. By the time Milan Lucic got the Bruins on the scoreboard in the final minute, the Bruins were already making plans for Monday’s game.
