Ex-NBA Player Predrag Danilovic Stabbed, Seriously Injured During Brawl in Serbia

389190_341178285941731_515016427_nA former NBA player was stabbed early Saturday morning during a brawl in a Serbian cafe.

Police say Pedrag Danilovic, known as Sasha during his time in the NBA, is seriously injured after getting stabbed during a fight in Belgrade, Serbia, according to The Associated Press. Danilovic has injuries to his abdomen, head and arms. He underwent an operation early Saturday.

The guard/forward played two seasons in the NBA with the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 12.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists for his career. He was drafted No. 43 overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 1992 NBA draft before being traded to the Heat. He now serves as general manager for Patrizan Belgrade, a Serbian basketball club.
