Former Patriots Defensive End Trevor Scott Visits With Philadelphia Eagles

Trevor Scott‘s stay in New England didn’t last very long, and it appears he may already be onto his next destination.

Scott visited with the Philadelphia Eagles and even took a physical on Friday, according to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com.

During his lone season with the Patriots, Scott primarily played in 14 games and notched 14 tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble. He was used primarily as a situational pass rusher along the defensive line, but didn’t have nearly the impact as his predecessor ,Mark Anderson, did. Anderson signed a big-money deal with the Buffalo Bills ahead of the 2012 season.

Scott did have 12 combined sacks in his first two NFL seasons — both with the Oakland Raiders — so the Eagles may be hoping the 28-year-old will return to that form next season.
