Jean-Gabriel PageauNo tooth is safe in the Canadiens-Senators series and Ottawa forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau became the latest player to learn that on Sunday night. Given the circumstances, however, it’s likely that Pageau doesn’t mind one bit.

The Ottawa rookie had himself a night in Game 3, as he scored a hat trick in the Sens’ 6-1 rout of the Habs. Pageau had his first memorable moment early on, though, when he scored his first career playoff goal in the second period.

Pageau had himself an odd souvenir in the seconds after beating Montreal goalie Carey Price for the goal. He took a high-stick from Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban before the shot, and Subban’s stick actually knocked out one of Pageau’s teeth. The forward, instead of properly celebrating his first career playoff tally, was seen searching frantically for his tooth on the ice after scoring.

Pageau eventually found the tooth, skated toward the bench and handed the tooth to backup goalie Robin Lehner who took care of it from there. This all comes after goalies Carey Price and Craig Anderson both lost teeth in the series as well.
