Joffrey Lupul Says Game 7 Loss to Bruins Will ‘Haunt Me Until the Day I Die’

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul had himself a solid first-round series against the Bruins. He scored three goals and added an assist, but it wasn’t quite enough as the B’s won Game 7 in overtime.

The forward was held pointless in the deciding game, a game in which the Leafs blew a 4-1 third-period lead. Lupul had a chance to change the nature of the game, but he was turned away by Tuukka Rask on a breakaway.

Lupul, as one might expect, isn’t taking the loss very well. Like many of today’s athletes, Lupul turned to social media on Tuesday afternoon to share his feelings.

This is what he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.
