Johnny Manziel has been the subject of a lot of conversations regarding his off-the-field activities since winning the Heisman trophy, but there’s no denying his talent on the field.

The redshirt freshman phenom holds the SEC record for total yards in a season with 4,600 and tied an 85-year-old record in 2012, rushing for 19 rushing touchdowns. Manziel is working hard in the offseason to defend his Heisman and has been training with quarterback guru George Whitfield.

Manziel and Whitfield have worked on the young quarterback’s throwing motion, three-step drop and — most impressively — throwing the ball accurately while blindfolded. Apparently, during the drill, Whitfield would have a receiver clap three times during Manziel’s drop, and the quarterback was able to find the receiver more often than not.
