Jonny Gomes, Red Sox Search for Positives After Falling to Twins in Blowout (Video)

When you lose a baseball game 15-8, its not an easy task to find a silver lining afterward.

Jonny Gomes wouldn’t say the Red Sox played well Wednesday night against the Twins, but he did praise his team’s unwillingness to quit after falling into a 4-0 hole after just one half-inning. Boston actually took the lead in the bottom of the frame, with a grand slam by Gomes providing the bulk of the damage, but it was all Minnesota the rest of the way.

To hear Gomes’ take on the loss, as well as pitching coach Juan Nieves‘ breakdown of Allen Webster‘s shaky second start, check out the video above.
