Jose Iglesias Gets Start at Shortstop As Jon Lester, Scott Kazmir Pitch in Battle of Lefties

Minnesota Twins  vs. Boston Red SoxIf Jose Iglesias is going to be up on the major league roster, the rookie shortstop might as well play.

Iglesias is getting the start at short on Saturday afternoon against Cleveland lefty Scott Kazmir. The Red Sox also have a lefty on the mound, Jon Lester, who’s 6-1 on the season with a 3.15 ERA.

Pedro Ciriaco is getting the nod at third base with Will Middlebrooks on the 15-day disabled list with a back strain. David Ross is getting his first playing time since May 11 after serving time on the 7-day disabled list with a concussion.
