Metta World Peace can now add “published author” to his resume.

The Lakers forward has written a children’s bedtime book in his free time, and it is officially on sale. “Metta’s Bedtime Stories” features five stories that will “help children think about daily events in a positive light,” and will show that “you can always have a better day tomorrow, if you have a hopeful heart and keep positive thoughts.”

The book is available on Amazon.com, and a portion of the proceeds will go to Xcel University, World Peace’s foundation that helps to fund mental health research and awareness programs.
