The Bruins got back in rhythm on Monday, getting things started with a goal by Adam McQuaid and capping things off with an empty netter by David Krejci in a convincing 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs. The victory gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead in their opening-round series with Toronto, and once again showed what the B’s are capable of when they are on their game.

Goals by Rich Peverley, Daniel Paille, Nathan Horton also left Toronto goaltender James Reimer looking totally flummoxed. In fact, the sight of Reimer dejectedly flipping up his goalie mask might have been the most fulfilling thing for Bruins fans.
