An Oklahoma man allegedly tried to steal the Zamboni from the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Okla., according to multiple local sources. The arena is home to the AHL’s Oklahoma City Barons.
Police say that Spencer Holt, 24, jumped on the Zamboni and drove through a couple locked gates onto the ice. Maintenance crews subdued the man until police arrived on the scene, at which time he was arrested.
Holt was charged with, among other crimes, destruction of private property and public drunkenness.
