TJ MoeThe Patriots trimmed their roster Friday, releasing wide receiver T.J. Moe and offensive lineman Tyronne Greene.

Moe signed a rookie contract with $30,000 in guaranteed money after going undrafted out of Missouri — the most lucrative deal for a Patriots UFA this offseason.

According to multiple reports, Moe was released under the waived/injured designation, meaning he would be able to join the Patriots’ injured reserve if he clears waivers. The news was first reported by CSNNE.com’s Tom Curran.

Moe appeared in 48 games over four seasons at Missouri, totaling 188 receptions for 2,101 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Green, a fifth-round pick by San Diego in 2009, was brought in as a free agent earlier this offseason. He has played in 41 games for the Chargers, including 28 starts.
