Red Sox Players Meet With Newtown, Conn., Families at Fenway Park (Photo)

The Red Sox beat the Indians in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon, but the players might have saved their most heroic acts for after the game.

Following the team’s 7-4 win over Cleveland, several players donned their jerseys to head back out onto the field at Fenway Park. Waiting for them there were several families from Newtown, Conn., who were attending “Connecticut Day” at the ballpark.
