Graham GodfreyThe Red Sox made a number of offseason transactions, but acquiring Graham Godfrey didn’t exactly grab headlines. The pitcher is reportedly on the move again.

According to Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal, the Red Sox have traded Godfrey to the Pirates in exchange for cash considerations.

Godfrey was acquired by the Sox from the Athletics back in December to complete an earlier deal, which involved pitcher Sandy Rosario going to Oakland.

Godfrey never pitched in a major league game with the Red Sox, as the right-hander has been with Triple-A Pawtucket for all of 2013. He went 4-3 with a 3.83 ERA in 13 games (four starts) with the PawSox.

The 28-year-old has 46 innings of big league experience — all with the A’s. He went 1-6 with a 5.09 ERA in 10 games (eight starts) combined between 2011 and 2012.
