Divorces and custody battles are never pretty, but the war of words between retired porn star Jenna Jameson and her former husband, former UFC champion Tito Ortiz, is getting particularly nasty.
Jameson and Ortiz are fighting for custody of their twin sons. The boys are currently with Ortiz, as Jameson lost custody rights back in April, possibly due in part to an assault charge by a former assistant that same month.
Jameson and Ortiz have been known to have problems for years. Ortiz was once arrested when Jameson accused him of physical abuse. He fired back and said she was addicted to Oxycontin.
Now, however, Jameson is taking her claims to Twitter. On Wednesday, Jameson made a number of accusations against Ortiz, claiming that, among other things, he lied to get custody of their children, he physically abused her and he used drugs before UFC matches. Jameson even included some photographic evidence.

For his part, Ortiz is trying to stay above the fray — to an extent. In an interview with MMAJunkie.com, Ortiz stressed that he’s a good dad, and he denied most of Jameson’s accusations, including that he took drugs. However, Ortiz wasn’t above trashing his ex-wife, saying Jameson “doesn’t want to be a mom.”
“I take care of these kids Monday through Saturday,” Ortiz said. “I have a nanny that comes in and helps me because Jenna doesn’t want to be a mom. She has a problem, and I don’t want to bash her because she’s the mother of my children. But I’ve tried to help somebody for the last seven years. I tried to make a family, and it’s hard to do that when somebody else doesn’t want to contribute.
“I just look at it as I can’t help somebody that doesn’t want to be helped. She can try and bash me as much as possible. The only thing it’s hurting is my children.”
Let’s just hope that, for the sake of the children, these two solve their problems and keep their grievances private in the future.
