Seahawks Rookie Receiver Justin Veltung Can Jump 56 Inches, Which Is Insanely High (Video)

The Seattle Seahawks appreciate athleticism more than almost any other team in the NFL, and their newest acquisition is proof of just that.

The Seahawks signed undrafted rookie wide receiver Justin Veltung on Thursday, adding to an already talented young corps on offense. But it wasn’t Veltung’s production that attracted the Seahawks. Instead, his most attractive attribute just so happens to be his ability to jump high — really, really high.

Veltung played four years at the University of Idaho, catching 62 passes and eight touchdowns for his career, but his most impressive number is 56 — as in, he can jump 56 inches in the air. That’s right, Veltung can do a 56-inch standing box jump, which is impressive for any player, never mind one who’s just 5-foot-11.
