Now that’s some tasty public relations.
According to a press release, NBC Sports Group, which is televising the NHL playoffs, is partnering with Crumbs Bake Shop for some unique outreach. “Stanley cupcakes” featuring all 16 playoff teams will be sent to media outlets all around the hockey world in celebration of the “Because It’s the Cup” marketing campaign.
Moreover, the cupcakes are arranged and attached to a near-life-size flat copy of the Stanley Cup, making for quite a presentation. Since these unfortunately won’t be available to the general public, check out the images below of some of those media outlets receiving their Stanley cupcakes.
