A ton of energy has surrounded the Cleveland Indians this season. They have a good record and, now, a rap song to show for it.

Indians prospect pitcher Trevor Bauer, who has made three starts for the Tribe, recorded a rap song about the squad called “Gutter to the Grail.” Cleveland teammates Chris Perez, Mark Reynolds, Justin Masterson and Ubaldo Jimenez are among those mentioned in the song, which was recorded for an Indians blog called Wahoo’s On First.

Reynolds is apparently among those ready to adopt the song as the Indians’ anthem. According to Dennis Manoloff of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Reynolds will use the song as his walk-up music on Wednesday.

This whole thing actually isn’t that surprising. Bauer released a rap song in the offseason, and after seeing Terry Francona appear in the club’s version of the “Harlem Shake,” anything seems possible.
