Andrew Bailey ‘Has to Get the Job Done,’ Glad to Be Picked Up by Bullpen Mates in Win (Video)

Up by two runs in the 10th inning, the Red Sox turned to Andrew Bailey to close the game and send Boston home with a win.

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out quite so easily, as the Red Sox closer suffered an inexplicably loss of control, walking three on the way to yielding two runs and earning the blown save. However, thankfully for Bailey and Boston, Koji Uehara and Franklin Morales picked up their bullpen mate, and the Red Sox eventually came up with a 10-8 14-inning win.

After the game, Bailey certainly wasn’t hiding from his bad outing, diligently answering questions from the media. Checkout everything the reliever had to so in the video above.
