Backstreet Boys Pose With Stanley Cup During Appearance on ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ (Photo)

Backstreet is, indeed, back.

The Backstreet Boys are back with a new album, In a World Like This, and the boy band is making the publicity rounds in support of the LP. On Wednesday night, the group stopped by the Late Show With David Letterman, not to perform a song, but to sing a (pretty hilarious) version of Letterman’s traditional Top 10 list.

Patrick Kane was also on the program Wednesday, with the Stanley Cup in tow. Granted, over the coming months we’re likely to see the Cup in many odd places and with many interesting people — it’s one of the great parts of the tradition of letting each player on the winning team have a whole day with the trophy. However, the Backstreet Boys posing with the Stanley Cup is certainly not something you see every day.

Or is it? Someone on the internet found these photos of the Boys featured in a number of promo pics, all wearing old-school NHL jerseys.

Check out the Backstreet Boys with the Stanley Cup in the image below.
