The Bruins and the city of Boston have rallied around the tragedy on Patriots Day all postseason long. Monday night may have seen the most inspiring moment yet.
Jeff Bauman — who lost his legs as a result of the bombings — stood tall at TD Garden before Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, waving the Bruins banner with the help of new prosthetic legs. It marked an encore performance for Bauman, who served the same role before Game 2 of the Maple Leafs series.
Fellow marathon hero Carlos Arredondo joined Bauman on Monday, along with the family of 8-year-old Martin Richard.
