MLB umpires haven’t had the greatest of seasons this year. On Friday night, Orioles manager Buck Showalter appeared to be so fed up with them that he tried to eject an entire crew from a game.

During the second inning of Baltimore’s matchup with the Blue Jays, Orioles first baseman Chris Davis swung and missed at what should have been strike three. Home plate umpire Angel Hernandez ruled it a foul ball after he thought the pitch deflected off Davis’ bat, but replays clearly showed that he whiffed. That prompted Toronto skipper John Gibbons to come out and argue the call, and after the umpires huddled together to discuss, they chose to overturn it.

Then, Showalter raced out of the dugout to argue with Hernandez, and that’s when things got testy.

After a long, heated debate between the two, Hernandez finally ejected Showalter, but the skipper wasn’t finished, as he then pointed to each umpire on the field involved with the call and threw them out one by one. Too bad for Showalter, it doesn’t work like that.

Check out the play and the aftermath in the video below.
