The Merlot Line featured some Swedish hints on Friday afternoon.

Carl Soderberg was skating with Shawn Thornton and Rich Peverley at practice on Friday at TD Garden, replacing Kaspars Daugavins, who has played six postseason games including the first four of the Stanley Cup Final.

Daugavins has nine shots, two PIMs and a minus-2 in six playoff games and chalked 5:57 TOI in Boston’s Game 4 loss to the Blackhawks Wednesday.

Soderberg played in just six regular-season games for the B’s, registering two assists.
