Daniel Nava Gets Start in Left Field As Red Sox Close Out Series With Yankees

Jacoby Ellsbury is out of the Red Sox lineup for the third straight night as he battles soreness in his groin.

Daniel Nava will instead get the start again in left field and take on the leadoff spot Sunday night against the Yankees after a stellar night against the Bronx Bombers on Saturday. The Sox are looking to close out the three-game series with two wins after taking the second game in a commanding 11-1 fashion. They hope to use some of the same chemistry from that game as they take the field with the same lineup as Saturday night.

Jose Iglesias is making a strong case as a utility infielder for when Will Middbrooks is able to return to the lineup. Iglesias will get the start again at third base on Sunday night.

The Yankees have done a little shaking up of their starting lineup, and the Sox will face right-hander Hiroki Kuroda on the mound.
