Kobe Bryant is on the road to recovery.
The Lakers star, who tore his Achilles tendon during an April 12 game against Golden State, posted a video on his Instagram on Thursday of himself walking gingerly on his surgically repaired ankle. Bryant posted the inside look at his rehab shortly after the launch of Video on Instagram, which debuted Thursday afternoon.
Bryant was aided by crutches in the video, which was taken on June 1, but he able to shed his walking boot for the first time since undergoing surgery a month and a half earlier.
In his Instagram post, Bryant remarked that he was walking “like a baby giraffe.” Is that an accurate assessment? Check it out for yourself in the video below.
