The latest chapter in Manny Ramirez‘s Taiwanese tour involves a long ball and a very emphatic TV announcer calling the game.
Ramirez knocked yet another homer out of the park on Friday for his team, EDA Rhinos. The home run itself wasn’t all that magical, but the commentary was priceless.
After the balled landed in the left field bleachers, the Taiwanese announcer got so worked up that he broke out of Chinese into English saying “This ball is long gone, just like the ex-girlfriend who will never return!” He then continued back in frantic Chinese.
