Mark Madden Rips Matt Cooke, Says ‘More Bad Comes From Having Matt Cooke Than Good’ (Video)

Matt Cooke isn’t very well liked around the hockey world, and even the folks in Pittsburgh are growing tired of his act.

After Cooke was tossed from Game 1 against the Bruins for hitting Adam McQuaid from behind, Bruins fans and media began calling for the NHL to get rid of the Penguins’ goon once and for all. Pens fans and media, for the most part, backed Cooke, claiming McQuaid managed to put himself in a vulnerable position, and that Cooke didn’t deserved to be tossed.

Mark Madden of 105.9 in Pittsburgh called in to WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan on Monday morning to discuss Game 1 and preview Game 2. Check out the video above, where he calls out Cooke and offers his take on the Penguins’ rare scrappy behavior during the loss.
