While Bruins fans might have entered the Eastern Conference finals with an axe to grind regarding Iginla’s no-trade drama at this year’s deadline, Matt Cooke has firmly moved atop any list of most-hated opposing players. Already despised for his career-ending hit on Marc Savard, Cooke was up to no good once again in Game 1.

His check from behind on Adam McQuaid was enough for Cooke to earn himself an early exit, but it will also be setting up plenty of drama down the road for the forward in this series. NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette has more in the above video.
