Pele Slaps Anderson Silva, Tells Him to Forget About Playing Soccer for Brazil in Spoof Commercial (Video)

Pele wants Anderson Silva to stick to his day job.

The king of soccer slapped some sense into UFC champion Silva in a new spoof video which asks, “What if?”

Vivo Sports produced a video which has gone viral in recent days. It shows what would happen if Silva channeled his energy into soccer, as many Brazilians do, instead of mixed martial arts.

A soccer-playing Silva is no pretty sight, but it is funny. His career trajectory would have taken him from a nondescript youth team all the way to Brazil’s storied national team. Unfortunately, his physical play and intimidating ways don’t work so well at soccer’s highest level. That’s where Pele steps in to make things right.
