Penguins’ Comeback Strategy Involves Game of Hangman at Practice (Photo)

The Pittsburgh Penguins are quite literally going back to the drawing board in an attempt to get back into the Eastern Conference finals, but their tactic may be a bit unconventional.

While the Bruins took Tuesday off in advance of Wednesday’s Game 3, Pittsburgh was back on the ice for practice after getting drubbed by the B’s 6-1 in Game 2. The Penguins, no doubt, worked on some things to try and climb out of the 0-2 hole they’re in, and that involved a game of hangman.

The Penguins’ white board hung on the glass at practice featured a game of hangman on Tuesday. The word in question? Comeback, of course. Judging by the photos, the Pens are a pretty intelligent bunch, as they were able to get the word before, well, hanging themselves.
