Prince Edward Island may be best known for its mussels, but it’s also Canada’s No. 1 golf destination.

The island hosts 17 courses — all close together — so as Mark McLane, the executive director of Golf PEI, says, “You spend time driving the ball, not driving your car.” The island can be accessed by car (via an eight-mile bridge), boat or plane (there are direct flights from New York City from June to September).

Prince Edward Island also features beautiful beaches and delicious seafood. Check out Canada’s best place to golf in the video above and watch GolfDestination.tv on NESN on Monday at 6 p.m. ET.
