The French Open final was interrupted briefly while a fan stormed the court with a flare.
The spectator ran down the Stade Roland Garros stairs, onto the court and toward Rafael Nadal before security dragged him off and tackled him over a fence. The shirtless fan was wearing a mask and appeared to be carrying a flare. Nadal fled from the fan and appeared to be shaken up, faulting after the incident.
He quickly recovered, though, taking the second set from David Ferrer 6-2. Prior to the situation, there was a loud anti-gay marriage protest in the stands.
