Put down the channel changer. Boston fans can watch the Bruins in peace Friday night and then catch two Red Sox-Angels games on Saturday thanks to Mother Nature.

Friday night’s Red Sox-Angels game has been postponed due to weather, the Red Sox announced Friday afternoon. Heavy rain is expected to come Friday night and continue into Saturday morning.

The Sox and Halos will instead squeeze in two games Saturday. The first game will be Friday’s rescheduled game and is set to start at 1:05 p.m. Tickets from Friday night’s game are good for that contest, which will air on NESN starting at 11:35 a.m.

The Saturday evening game, scheduled for 7:15, will continue as planned.

Pregame coverage of the Bruins-Penguins Eastern Conference finals series starts on NESN at 7 p.m. Friday.
