Red Sox’ Full Team Effort Opens Flood Gates for Offense, Puts Sox Ahead Early (Video)

The Red Sox were due for a solid offensive night at Fenway Park.

The team combined for 11 runs in a rout of the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night. The Sox tallied a season-high 20 hits to snap a two-game losing streak, with all nine starters recording hits in the game.

The offense was backed up by the defense, though, with Ryan Dempster giving up just two runs in six innings to clinch his fifth win of the season. The Sox have a long homestand to continue showing Boston fans why they sit atop the AL East.

To hear what Mike Napoli had to say about his team’s effort after the game, watch the video above.
