Reggie BushThe Detroit Lions have never won the Super Bowl and are also coming off an abysmal 4-12 campaign last season, but that hasn’t stopped their players from expecting big things.

Less than one month after defensive tackle Nick Fairley predicted a Super Bowl appearance from the Lions, new running back Reggie Bush, who won a title with the New Orleans Saints three seasons ago, went a step further on Tuesday. Bush is saying the Lions have the pieces necessary to win the Super Bowl.

“Honestly, I don’t think we’re far at all,” Bush said after the Lions’ organized team activities on Tuesday. “We have the guys here to be able to win a Super Bowl. Now obviously, with that said, there’s a lot that has to go into this season, this team, this offseason before we can even think about that.

“Right now, we just got to think about doing the little things right and kind of coming together, building that chemistry that’s going to help us down into the season.”
