Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the murder investigation of a man in North Attleboro, according to WBZ.

Initial reports indicated that Hernandez was not a suspect in the investigation, but one law enforcement source told WBZ’s Karen Anderson on Wednesday that the Patriots tight end has not yet been “ruled out” as a suspect.

The investigation began on Monday night when the body of 27-year-old man was found in the North Attleboro Industrial Park, which is located about a mile from Hernandez’s home. A black Chevrolet Suburban rental car, which was registered under Hernandez’s name, was found nearby.

Police questioned Hernandez and searched his North Attleboro home for a few hours on Tuesday night, taking a box with them as they left. State police returned to Hernandez’s home on Wednesday morning, but they left after there was no answer at the door.
