It may soon be time to start renaming Jacksonville to “New England South.”

Mike Kafka, one day after getting cut by the Patriots in order to make room at quarterback for Tim Tebow, has been claimed off waivers by the Jaguars. That will make it four former Patriots to join the Jaguars in the last month, as Kafka will follow in the footsteps of Kyle Love, Brandon Deaderick and Jeremy Ebert down south to Jacksonville.

The Cowboys also put in a claim for Kafka, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, but the Jaguars had priority.
